So I was immersed once again with school work and countless other thoughts, and i suddenly had to urge to stop everything and do nothing- which is exactly what I did. The world didn't stop spinning if i stopped working, it just continued on. I ask myself why do I have to travel the same speed everyone else is going at? Or more importantly where is everyone going in such a rush (seeing the human mortality rate is 100% there is only one direction). I know we have heard this a million times, so here is the millionth and one time, we should stop and smell the flowers.
We are so busy sowing our seeds, or watering our flowers that we forget to simply enjoy them. Which reminds me of the passage:
All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever. -1 Peters 1:24-25
Amen to that!
Being busy suxs. I think I'll try and enjoy my youthfulness while i still have it =)
r u selling flowers?
ReplyDeleteAMEN to that brother! I think we all need to stop, not to escape from our problems, but to enjoy what The LORD has provided us.

By the way, I have a friend who owns a flower shop. She is looking for a part-time assistant during Valentine's Friday and Saturday. If you know anyone who has the experience in this (must be experienced though!), let me know. Good opportunity to "smell flowers!" :D
