Evolution Vs. Creation

I forgot the title, was it Science Vs. Creation or Evolution Vs. Creation? someone please correct me.

Speaker: Tim Barnett of People's Christian Academy

Main points:
1. Science is derived from religion and can be used to support Christianity.

2. Science and Creation looks at the same object from different perspectives. Science looks at the object and man decides the truth, where as Creation looks at the object and God decides the truth.

3. Evolution says all beings are originated from a single source and from this source, many other beings are created, known as the Tree of Life. Creation says all beings are originated from their ancestors, created during Genesis, known as the Orchard of Life.

4. Evolution does not exist, rather it is mutation that is at work. For since the beginning, genetic information has been decreasing because of animals have to adapt to survive. Animals without the genes to survive will be eliminte, for good.

Interesting Quotes:
"What we see in God's world confirms wih what we read in God's word."
"I am married."
"I don't like poodles."

Useful Websites:
www.creationontheweb.com (or .org, one of them will work)

Questions ( I guess we should always get something out of sessions like these):
1. How does Evolution relate to us?
2. How come some say science and religion can't exist together, but this guy says they can?
3. Where is God in Evolution?
4. What can we learn from this session to help us to grow?

A little joke I heard a few years ago ( I don't remember the exact details):
Some time in the distant future, science is so advanced that they can reproduce big gang at will. So, one scientist walks up to God and start bragging.

S: Hey God, you know, we are so good now that we can take over your job. We don't need you anymore.
G: Is that right?
S: Yes, we can create wine out of water and all sorts of other miracles.
G: Nice.
S: We can even create animals. O ya, we can even create humans out of soil now!!
G: That's pretty good. Now, how about you use your own soil?
