Prayer Requests

Just read too many articles of violence these days. Felt like putting something here if anyone is looking for some prayer items.

1. Economy

Not sure if anyone keeps up with the auto industry news. Either today or yesterday, the GM CEO is asked to step down. Chrysler and GM were given the option to merge, or go bankrupt. Either option will mean job losses, but the merging option probably has less impact. I don't know if Obama's actions are what we want, but at least he is doing a lot to save people. How effective, I don't know enough to say.

Other countries are not doing any better. Look at Ireland. The government was overthrown and they have to find a new prime minister to fix the mess.

Prayer: God's leadership in this and His plan inserted in the world leader's brains.

2. Crime rates

Shooting shooting shooting, too much counter strike? A lot of shooting these days, especially in those day care centers. It's like a common thing to see people getting shot and died in the middle of a busy street.

Prayer: God's mercy on the victim's families.

3. Natural disaster

Flooding down at Dakota, North or South, I forgot. I think it's North. As the flood is being controlled, cold air is creeping in. So the victims have to deal with losing their home and the col weather. Another flooding down at Indonesia, killing many.

4. Easter

With Easter coming up, how shall we prepare our hearts?
